Issue/Introduction

Is CA 2E certified/supported with the latest IBMi 7.6 OS?

Environment

CA 2E 8.7.x

Resolution

CA 2E 8.7.4 is currently in the process of being tested and certified with the new IBMi 7.6 OS.

At this time, CA 2E 8.7.4 will be the only 2E version certified/supported with IBMi 7.6.

There is no ETA as to when this certification will be completed.

As of right now (May 2025), the highest OS level that is supported and certified is IBMi 7.5 as per the 2E compatibility matrix.

 

Additional Information

As of June 4, 2025, the ETA for CA 2E 8.7.2+ certification for IBMi 7.6 is end of June, 2025 or early July, 2025
