Issue/Introduction

Encountered an issue with the new release of the Vantage Chart Generator after installing Vantage StoragePoint Web client 14.1.5 

When attempting to run a scheduled report with graphing, the Generator STC returns an RC=8 and gives the following response in the Java section:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to execute ApplicationRunner

Cause

The Vantage StoragePoint web client is upgraded to 14.1.5 version which uses Java 17, but the prior Vantage Chart Generator version 1.0.1 which uses Java 8.

Resolution

Technology stack has been updated to JAVA 17 and APACHE TOMCAT 10.1.34.
Vantage PTF LU15979 is a prerequisite for Vantage StoragePoint™ Web Client 14.1.5 and Vantage Chart Generator 1.1.0.

Copy the latest Vantage Chart generator proc VANTREPO from your.HLQ.CCTUSAMP library and customize it.
