Logs are not getting saved beyond "n" days Aria Operations for logs retention policy

Issue/Introduction

Log retention is in lower amount of days as requested. 

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 

Cause

Too much log data is being ingested by the Aria Operations for Logs cluster to allow it to fulfill the retention policy, more storage or log filtering is required.

Resolution

To increase live log retention time:

1. Add disks to all nodes as per Increase the Storage Capacity of the VMware Aria Operations for Logs Virtual Appliance
2. Filter the logs you don't need, as per Add a Log Filter Configuration

Note: Log Filtering only applies to future logs, not to logs already present in storage.
