CA Directory Dxagent service fails to start

Issue/Introduction

The dxagent service is failing to start with an error.

OSError: No socket could be created -- (('::', 9443, 0, 0): [Errno 98] Address already in use)

Environment

14.1 SP5

Cause

 The dxagent.error.log file has root user permission

Resolution

 

1. The dxagent.error.log file has a root user permission, so it stopped writing to it.
2. Changed the file permission from root user to a DSA user.
3. After changing the file permission, able to start the dxagent services successfully
4. Also, the dxagent.error.log is getting updated
