Issue/Introduction
Unable to run masking JOBS or PII scan from TDM Portal 4.10.268.0
In TDMModelService logGetting error as :
GlobalExceptionConvertor: HTTP Error - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR: Exception: Error occured posting job request to TDMJobService:404 : "<!doctype html><html lang="en"><head><title>HTTP Status 404 – Not Found</title><style>"
com.ca.tdm.common.exception.TDMException: Error occured posting job request to TDMJobService:404 : "<!doctype html><html lang="en"><head><title>HTTP Status 404 – Not Found</title><style>"
Environment
TDM Portal Release: 4.X.XXX
Cause
This issue happens when the TDMJobEngine service doesn't start correctly and in the startup log we can see below error:
FINEST|12444/0|25-05-15 13:50:31|SEVERE: Unable to process web resource [/WEB-INF/classes/com/ca/tdm/jobengine/job/sync/TargetSynchronizer.class] for annotations
FINEST|12444/0|25-05-15 13:50:31|java.io.EOFException
Resolution
Follow below steps to resolve the issue:
1. Stop the CA Test Data Manager Portal service.
2. Leaving the WAR files as it is, delete all of the folders, except ROOT folder, under Program Files\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal\tomcat\webapps.
3. Start the CA Test Data Manager Portal service.
4. Login to the Portal and test.
