How to redo AdminUI Registration

Issue/Introduction

I have problem to register the AdminUI. I face several errors. How can I clean all objects related to AdminUI registration and start over without re-installing the AdminUI?

On the AdminUI:

 

(This is for AdminUI using embedded JBoss. If any other application server is used then do not follow this steps).

 

If the AdminUI runs on Linux, insure that /dev/random is linked to /dev/urandom (or check if rngd is running)

Stop the AdminUI;

 

Rename folder server/default/data to server/default/data.sav;

On the Policy Server:

 

Remove all trustedhost associated with previous xpsregclient by running XPSExplorer; 

 

Remove all admin users by XPSExplorer; 

 

Remove all admins by XPSSecurity;

 

Run smreg -su your_password;

 

Run XPSRegClient siteminder:your_password -adminui-setup

On the AdminUI:

 

Start the AdminUI;

 

Login to the http://host.domain.com:8080/iam/siteminder/adminui using username:password as siteminder and the superuser password you have set above by running smreg and the FQDN of the Policy Server;

You should be able to log in.
