APMIA and Cloud Proxy support for RHEL 9.x

Issue/Introduction

 Information regarding the compatibility of the DX APM Infrastructure Agent (APMIA) and Cloud Proxy with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.x environments. Customers running RHEL 9.4 or similar versions require confirmation on the minimum supported agent versions and download locations.

Environment

• APM Infrastructure Agent (APMIA)

 

Resolution

APMIA version 24.4.2 and higher support RHEL 9.x. This support extends to all subsequent releases, including version r25.x and r26.x.

To download and install the agent:

1. Log in to the Broadcom Support Portal.
2. Navigate to Downloads and select DX Application Performance Management.
3. Select the latest available release (e.g., 26.5.1). Newer versions are recommended as they contain the latest security updates and full RHEL 9 compatibility.
4. For DX SaaS users, ensure the security token is configured in the agentManager.credential property within the IntroscopeAgent.profile.
