How to generate new report with Enterprise Support level account

Issue/Introduction

Typical Enterprise Support account is not allowed to generate a new report in enterprise. However, customer may have needs to do that. This article introduces a way to generate report with Enterprise Support account. 

Environment

VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN Orchestrator with operator superuser account

Log in to the new UI of VCO with the operator superuser account.

 

Resolution

1. Log in to the new UI of VCO with the operator superuser account.

2. Navigate to the tenant, click to enter the main page of the tenant, and select SD-WAN from the top navigation bar ---> Global settings:

3. On the left-hand navigation bar, locate User Management ----> Roles ----> Add Role.

4. Configure permissions as shown in the following image:

5. User Management ----> Users ----> New User.

6. Set the username and password, select "next," choose the role that was just created (e.g., Enterprise_support_with_report). For edge access, select "Privileged."

7. Log in to VCO with the newly created account. This time, do not add /operator to the VCO URL.

8. Generate a report:
