Cancelling any tasks from monitor -tasks option fails to kill the process

Issue/Introduction

Cancelling any tasks from monitor - tasks doesn't end the task

Environment

VMware vCenter server 8.x

Cause

This is a known issue on 8 update 3 

Resolution

The issue is fixed on vCenter 8 update 3 g 

Workaround :

• cancel the task from recent tasks option on vCenter
