Issue/Introduction

Custom forms can contain input parameter, if these have been changed the change is not reflected to already existing deployments.

Through the Service Broker portal users then update the existing deployment to choose the new network but receive the following error:

Failed to retrieve plan: failed to match exactly one schema constant value

Environment

Aria Automation 8.x

Resolution

This is an expected behaviour. As the new Parameter was added to the new Cloud template version, the existing deployment needs to be updated with the new cloud template version, which can only be achieved from Assembler. Once this is done the new added Input parameter can be used to update the Deployment.

For example the user can change a network if the network entry is already present in the list of networks in the blueprint version that's used/associated with the deployment at the time of creation.

Please refer to How to move a deployed machine to another network

A new network updated in the blueprint can be made available to an existing deployment by updating the same via Assembler. This is because while updating the deployment we can choose the version of the blueprint which is not possible in the first case through Service Broker.
