License Not Displayed in Aria Suite Lifecycle for Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Logs

Issue/Introduction

• Licenses are not appearing in the Select License dropdown within Aria Suite Lifecycle while attempting to assign them to Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Logs environments

Environment

• VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x

• Aria Operations 8.x

• Aria Operations for Logs 8.x

Resolution

 

Follow the following steps to address this issue:

• Manually assign the license using the product UI:

  • Add License to Aria Operations

  • Assign License to Aria Operations for Logs

• Then, perform an Inventory Sync from Aria Suite Lifecycle to sync the changes

 

Optional: Apply the latest Product Support Pack or Patch to Aria Suite Lifecycle to resolve any potential UI or licensing-related issues

• Manual assignment of licenses in the product UI followed by an Inventory Sync reflects the updated license status in Aria Suite Lifecycle
