Issue/Introduction

Unable to access the ESXi host from the GUI but able to access through ssh.

The VMs are in running state but unable to take back up of the VMs.

 

We can see below error:

Partition table of the LUN is showing unknown while running partedUtil getptbl "/vmfs/devices/disks/naa.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "

Resolution

Need to engage storage array vendor to look into the issue about unable to read partition table, I_T NEXUS LOSS OCCURRED error, LUN read only issues.
