Unable to configure custom quota for IP spaces in VMWare Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• Configured custom quota in IP spaces cannot be modified in VMware Cloud Director(VCD). 
• When you do not provide any Floating IPs for the Custom Quota for IP Spaces in VCD Provider Portal you cannot SAVE the configuration since the SAVE button does not get enabled. 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1

Cause

This is a known issue with the current version of VMware Cloud Director mentioned in this article. 

Resolution

The workaround available for the issue is to select or enable the the Floating IPs button and put a number 0(if you do not want to use Floating IP for the custom Quotas). The SAVE button will be highlighted once we enable the Floating IPs button and enter a number against it.

To use the workaround please follow the below steps:

1. Login with the System Administrator user in VCD Provider portal.
2. Go to Cloud Resources and click on IP Spaces. 
3. Click on IP Space you want to add a Custom Quota for. 
4. After getting inside the particular IP Space click on Quota and Click ADD in Custom Quotas. 
5. Add Custom Quota for the IP Space by selecting Organization.
6. Now enable the Floating IPs and /24 Prefix options.
7. Put the specific number you want for /24 Prefix and the number 0 after enabling the options for Floating IPs.  
8. You will see the SAVE button is highlighted.
9. Click SAVE after providing the details in Custom Quota.
