Autosys Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

We used the below patch to update our Primary scheduler that is running IBM AIX Linux
AutoSys Workload Automation 12.1 CUM2
99111902LINUX -ALL
Autosys  12.1.0 CUM Patch 2 has been installed on the Primary scheduler server successfully.

However, when trying to run the autoflags command, we are now getting
ksh: autoflags: 0403-006 Execute permission denied.

The listing for the file is:

-rwxr-xr-x    1 autosys  autosys      236696 Nov 16 2023  autoflags

The permissions on /opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/autosys/bin/autoflags are set for everyone to execute the program, and the program was working before the patch was installed.

Environment

Autosys R12.1.0 CUM2
IBM AIX

Cause

The wrong patch was applied to the system.
IBM AIX and HP UX have separate installers and patches

Resolution

The patch  99111902 is for Linux versions OTHER than HP-UX and IBM-AIX
Please follow the documentation to roll back the CUM2 patch:

See section:
