After running Sysprep, look in the c:\windows\system32\sysprep\panther\setuperr.log file for issues.
When a system is sysprepped and fails, the following error messages are seen in the setuperr.log file:
SYSPRP Package Microsoft.<SoftwarePackage>_1.<version>_x64 was installed for a user, but not provisioned for all users. This package will not function properly in the sysprep image.
SYSPRP Failed to remove apps for the current user: 0x80073cf2.
SYSPRP Exit code of RemoveAllApps thread was 0x3cf2.
ITMS 8.x
GSS 3.s
Capturing an image on Windows workstation
The error messages indicate that a software is installed for a user, but not the user that ran the Sysprep command. We need to login as that other user and run the commands from KB Prepare Windows 11 or Windows 10 to run Sysprep through Ghost Solution Suite Capture Image Task Step 5: Stage Windows Store Apps, and properly stage for all users. Then Sysprep will complete image capture properly.
