Is it required to stop any VIP EG service before Manual Upgrade

Issue/Introduction

When performing the VIP EG upgrades, V9.9.0 to V9.9.1 And then V9.9.1 to V9.9.2 Should the “LDAP Directory Synchronization” service and “Radius Validation Service” be stopped from the VIP EG GUI first or does it not matter ?

The question is specific to old version but it is valid for any latest version manual upgrade scenario.

Environment

VIP Enterprise Gateway

Resolution

It is not required to stop any VIP Enterprise related services before doing the manual upgrade. Once the Upgrade is complete, following services should be restarted. The screen shot is from the Liveupdate but applicable for manual upgrade as well.
