As part of internal documentation initiatives, it is required to document the patching process for CCS application as it relates specifically to how Broadcom provides application patching or hotfixes.
When official hot fixes are made available, a notification is sent out. The updates/hotfixes are made available on the download portal. You can sign up for CCS notifications by following the below KB article.
How to Sign Up For Notifications
Hotfixes are verification fixes (private fixes) and are generally installed manually on the affected parts of CCS.
For an example of a past notification for a hot fix for the agent, take a look at the notification that was also emailed out.
