Getting "Invalid URL format" when adding custom "Redirect URIs" in OIDC client after upgrading from 12.8 SP06 to 12.8.08

Issue/Introduction

Getting the following Error within the Adminui  OIDC client when attempting to add custom "Redirect URI".

From the guide, custom URI is supported 

"Configure the Redirect URIs section to define the redirect URIs for sending an authorization code to a client"

URI
Defines a valid, unique redirect URI that SiteMinder uses to send the authorization code back to the client. The URI sent in the initial authorization code request must match the list of URIs defined in Redirect URIs.
The URI can begin with one of the following schemes:
HTTP
HTTPS
Custom URI in the scheme :// format
where scheme = alphabet *(alphabet|digit|+|-|.)
If the Application Type of the client is Public, use the HTTPS or scheme:// format.'

 

Environment

12.8, 12.8 SP8 CR01 and 12.9 Releases 

Cause

This is a Defect in the product impacting 12.8 , 12.8 SP1 and 12.9 and will be fixed in 12.9 SP1

Please open a case with Broadcom support to get the DEV fix.
