Issue/Introduction

• Configuring the Management Pack for Aria Orchestrator in Aria Operations fails with the error:

  • Failed to connect vRO server. Failed to connect to vRO server. Please validate hostname, port and credentials.

Cause

• Issues with Basic Authentication for Aria Orchestrator since the Aria Orchestrator 8.18.1 upgrade. (Embedded and External Appliances).

Resolution

• Fix provided in Aria Automation & Aria Orchestrator 8.18.1 Cumulative Update #2 as per the following KB:
