Issue/Introduction

The Nas turning red and the only thing that managed to fix this problem is to replace the database.db (we have backup of this file).

It happened two times in 24 hours.

 Controller: Max. restarts reached for probe 'nas' (command = nas.exe)

Environment

UIM 23.4 CU3

nas probe :23.4.3.2

Resolution

Upgrade to nas 23.4.4 which is available in 23.4 CU4 

In this use case there were 2 rows with empty change_id column

You can verify by below method 

 

  • Download db browser  https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/
  • Open database.db file from nas folder
  • Click on Execute SQL tab
  • Run "select nimid, change_id, message from NAS_ALARMS"
  • Check if change_id column is empty for any alarm
