Issue/Introduction

This article provides important information regarding the end of availability for the VMware Verify authentication method within VMware Identity Manager (vIDM)

Resolution

Please be aware that the VMware Verify authentication method reached its end of availability on October 31, 2022. As of this date, the VMware Verify application is no longer available for download from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Customers using VMware Verify for multi-factor authentication within VMware Identity Manager will need to transition to an alternative supported authentication method. VMware Identity Manager offers various other multi-factor authentication options that remain available and supported. Please consult the VMware Identity Manager documentation for a list of supported authentication methods and guidance on configuring them.
