Issue/Introduction

Error code = LCMVRNICONFIG90073
Failed to start services.
Failed to get service status with IP x.x.x.x

vmware_vrlcm.log shows
Auth fail for methods ‘publickey,password’
systemctl status sshd.service on operations for platform node  shows
error: Received disconnect from xx.xxx.xxx.xx port 47496:3 com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail for methods ‘publickey,password’ [preauth]

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks: 6.13
Life Cycle Manager: 8.18

Resolution

Steps to resolve the issue:

1. Login to the LCM through admin credential.
2. Deleted failed request from LCM using this KB: Delete Request ID/Failed Environment.
3. In LCM, go to Settings --> System Details --> Enabled FIPs Mode Compliance.
4. Reset console user and support creds in locker using this KB: Changing passwords on VMware Aria Operations for Networks using Aria Suite Lifecycle .
5. Start a new deployment.
