Issue/Introduction

VIO managed Virtual Machines have been deleted from Horizon UI.

When new instances are recreated in OpenStack, the associated Virtual Machines do not get IP address assigned 

Environment

VIO 7.x

Cause

When multiple instances that are part of a stack are deleted in VIO, at times the associated NSX Segments and ports are not cleaned up from the vCenter network inventory. 

Resolution

Verify if there is any stale segment or port that was associated with the deleted instances in the vCenter network inventory and delete.
