We have given the Window's user ids IWAM_node-name and IUSER_node-name Update Authority rights to the Windows TEMP directory and many users are working without problems. However, certain users get a 0 byte file when saving, even though they can perform other functions with no problems.
In most cases, giving the Window's user ids IWAM_node-name and IUSER_node-name Update Authority rights to the Windows TEMP directory (System %TEMP%) on the Web Viewer server resolves this problem. This is documented in the Getting Started Manual, Chapter 2, Adding the IWAM and IUSR account security to the temp directory.
However certain users may get a blank or 0 byte file when saving, even though they can perform other operations with no problem. Giving the Users Full Control to the System Temp directory on the Web Viewer Server machine solves the problem for these users.
