Configuring HA fails with error : "configuration error"

Issue/Introduction

Configuration error on HA state while enabling HA

Environment

VMware vCenter server 7.x

VMware vCenter server 8.x

Cause

Port 9084 is not enabled on the ESXI 

Resolution

• Test the connectivity from the ESXI to vCenter on port 9084 , Troubleshooting network and TCP/UDP port connectivity issues on Hosts
• Command to test the connectivity from host to vCenter  ,  nc -z vCenter_fqdn 9084 
• Enable vCenter update manager port from ESXI firewall option , in vCenter client click on ESXI-Configure-Firewall  ESXi Firewall Configuration
• Retry configuring HA
