High /data Usage on Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager Due to Stale Product Binaries in productbinariesRepo

Issue/Introduction

The /data partition on Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager has reached critical utilization at approximately 98%. The primary space consumption is located under the path: /data/vm-config/vmrepo/productbinariesRepo.
Since binary mapping is not available through the UI, manual deletion of binaries is currently not possible, resulting in continued high usage of the /data partition.

Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18.x

Cause

When content leases are deleted without removing the corresponding download URLs, stale binary references are left behind in the internal database. These entries persist in the repository and consume disk space unnecessarily.
