Unable to stop/terminate Datacom Server

Issue/Introduction

Issuing z/OS console command STOP to terminate Datacom Server but sometimes it does not come down.

Is there any other way to stop the Datacom Server?

Resolution

The only other way to stop Datacom Server is to issue the EOJ command.

This can be done with a z/OS modify console command:
f server_jobname,EOJ

Or by running the Datacom Server  batch utility SVCOMPR with the EOJ command as input.

However the processing will be the same as issuing a STOP command.

If for some reason it does not terminate it will need to be cancelled.
