When trying to run systemctl is-alive rc-local it fails

Issue/Introduction

When checking rc-local status it shows:

rc-local.service: Failed to locate executable /etc/rc.local: Permission denied

rc-local.service: Failed at step EXEC spawning /etc/rc.local: Permission denied

Cause

The OS is configured incorrectly configured

Resolution

Remove the symlink that is set for rc.local and configure it to be a real file instead of just a reference
