Issue/Introduction

To enter the ITPAM GUI out of the internet should be secured by 2-factor/multi-factor authentication - is this possible?

Environment

CA Process Automation all versions

Resolution

CA Process Automation itself does not support 2FA/MFA authentication directly.

However, a third party load balancer, such as an F5 hardware load balancer, can provide the two factor authentication out front, and then pass through to the normal ITPAM authentication channels. This external load balancer configuration is out of scope for Broadcom Support to advise on.
