url_response: error500 The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request

Issue/Introduction

We are randomly getting the following error for an URL we are monitoring: 

Apr 23 12:01:39:600 [9584] url_response: Sent alarm(5) URL response for 'https://example.com' failed. Monitored From  - 500 The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.

What could be causing this?

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.*
• url_response any version

Cause

•  500 HTTP error, also known as an "Internal Server Error," means something went wrong on the server-side when processing a request, but the server can't provide a more specific explanation. This error indicates a problem on the remote server not UIM/url_response probe
• This error indicates a problem on the remote server not DX UIM/url_response probe
• If connects via Proxy could be related to proxy load or intermittent disconnection 

Resolution

• This error generally indicates an intermittent problem on the remote server (target URL) not DX UIM/url_response probe.
• If using proxy set up a net_connect profile to ping the proxy server to analyze any package drops or check if any issues related to load on proxy or server
