change password expiration time in hub configuration

Issue/Introduction

In DX UIM 23.4.4 (CU4) there are new options for the password expiration time and password expiration notification time.

How can we set these options?

Is there an equivalent Raw Configure key?

DX UIM 23.4.4

Resolution

The password expiration time and expiration notification time can only be set using Infrastructure Manager or Admin Console.

The values are stored in the hub security.cfg which cannot be edited manually.

There are no raw configure keys - you must use one of the UI options to change these times.

In the Infrastructure Manager, perform the following steps:
Access the Security tab.
Select the Set Password Expiration Time option (or Set Password Expiry Notification Time)

In the Admin Console, perform the following steps:
Access the main menu option, and select Password Expiry (or Password Expiry Notification)

 

If you do not see these options, make sure the ACL you are using has the new " Password Expiry" ACL permission.  Superuser and Administrator ACL's should receive this automatically.
