Critical System Protection (CSP) 8..0..x Null Policies version lower than R20 may increase OS re-imaging time

Issue/Introduction

The customer reported that after updating the OS image that previously included the CSP 7.2 agent, with 8.0.2 CSP agent version image deployment time substantially increased. 

 

Environment

Windows 10 

CSP 8.0.x Null Policy

Cause

This is a known issue with the NULL policies 8.0 and 8.0.2 versions <=19

Resolution

This is a known issue that was addressed in the policy pack SCSPPreventionPolicyPack-v8.0.2-m8.0.2-2025042812

To resolve the issue, please follow the steps below:

#1 Import the policy pack to the CSP Management Console (attached)

#2 Create Default policies using the policy pack SCSPPreventionPolicyPack-v8.0.2-m8.0.2-2025042812

#3 Remove the older versions of NULL policy lower than R20 from the CSP Management Server
