How to apply licenses for Aria Operations, Enterprise edition.

Issue/Introduction

• An Aria Operations cluster is running the Standard edition version of Aria Operations.
• A new license key, of the type 'VMware Aria Suite Enterprise 8.14 for Cloud Foundation', has been provided by Broadcom after subscription renewal.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Resolution

When you receive a license key of this type, it needs to be applied in the Legacy Licenses menu.

• Navigate to the 'Subscriptions' tab of the Aria Operations UI.
• Select the 'Legacy Licenses' option.
• Click 'ADD'.
• Select 'vRealize Operations' from the drop-down menu.
• Enter your key in the appropriate field and hit 'Validate'
