Issue/Introduction

GemFire slow startup after deleting some regions from a disk store without revoking the associated missing disk stores.

 

Environment

All GemFire-supported Versions.

Cause

This is a known product issue that has been resolved in the GemFire version 10.1.4

Resolution

To resolve the issue:

Please upgrade to GemFire version 10.1.4.

Workaround

1. If you need to revoke a disk store, revoke all disk stores for that member.

2. Wait until all other members have fully started before starting the member(s) with revoked disk stores.
