Federated Carbon Black Cloud Account Incorrectly Prompted For UserName and Password

Issue/Introduction

After a Federated (SAML configured) user attempts to login they are redirected and prompted for a username and password instead of being redirected directly to the IDP.

Environment

Cause

Browser cache

Resolution

Delete the browsers cache

• Google Chrome
• Microsft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox
• Safari

NOTE:The default time range may not be enough. It's possible it may require clearing Everything / All time.

Additional Information

This issue can be proven by attempting the login via a InPrivate / Private / Incognito browser window.
