Resolution

To reconnect the Aria Operations root account to SDDC manager follow the steps below:

  1. Reset the expired root account using steps from article: How to Reset the Root Password in VMware Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations)

  2. Once the root account has been reset reconnect to the SDDC manager using the Remediate option from the password management page:  Remediate Passwords
