Issue/Introduction

VCF Operations for Networks (formerly Aria Operations for Networks, or AON, formerly vRealize Network Insight, VRNI) showing error "Data Collection failed due to an error" for NSX Data Sources

Environment

• VCF Operations for Networks 6.11
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.12
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.13
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.14
• VMware NSX 

Cause

In 6.14.0 VCF Operations for Networks moved to Policy API and in some instances the enableNSXTPolicyAPI flag is set correctly on Platform and Collector nodes and needs to be reverted back to Management API.

On the Collector(s) in the /var/log/arkin/collector/ directory in the latest_error.log you may see the following error message:

Resolution
