The Vantage Host (SAMS) STC MSGE log is showing the following messages.
OBJCTREE MEMBER=VPOTGC NOT FOUND IN DD=PARMS
OBJCTREE MEMBER=VPOTFU NOT FOUND IN DD=PARMS
The Vantage checks for the VPOTxx members. If these members are not there, it logs the above messages in the Vantage Host STC MSGExx log file.
If PDSMAN is used then these messages can be stopped by following the below steps:
PDSMAN distributes parameter members that must be copied to the library with customer other Vantage Factory Distributed PARMDLIB members. To configure the distributed parameter members, copy members VPOTGC, VPPDGC and VPCDGC from the PDSMAN Sample Materials library to one of customer PARMDLIB libraries in the PARMS DD concatenation of your host JCL. More details can be found in the PDSMAN tech doc z/OS Host Configuration section.
If PDSMAN is NOT used then these messages continue to appear in the MSGExx file. These are for only Internal messages for the diagnostic purpose.
