File submission limits, from the SMG to CAS/MAS, and to the Cloud Sandbox

Issue/Introduction

How much data goes from SMG to CAS/MA, from one company so calculation can be done for how many new CAS appliances would be need, since the CAS limit is 1000 samples sent to the clouds in one hour.

Concerning the amount of data (samples) the Symantec SMG can submit to the Cloud Sandbox, refer to the below.

• Files sent to the sandbox are limited to 1000 files per hour (24,000 per day).
  
  
• If the submission limit is exceeded, a 429 Rate Limit Exceeded error is returned.

Note that the submission limit is the same, regardless of the origin, or source, of the samples.
