Quickstart configuration will not complete after moving vSAN to a newly created vCenter

Issue/Introduction

An administrator moves vSAN cluster from one vCenter to another and notices the warning "All required hosts are in maintenance mode" under Quickstart.

Environment

VMware vSphere 7.0
VMware vSphere 8.0

Cause

The quickstart check is designed for HCI configure workflow. If you configured a vSAN cluster manually or had moved working vSAN cluster to a different vCenter, quickstart does not know these hosts are vSAN provisioned.

Resolution

As vSAN is already configured on the hosts,  you can click 'Skip QuickStart' button to ignore it. Otherwise, it doesn't know you have already finished the cluster configuration.
