Duplicate Trusted Communication Certificates

Issue/Introduction

When viewing the Trusted Communication Certificates list, there are duplicate entries for the same Thumbprint.

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.7.0 - 8.11.0

Cause

Logic checking for an existing certificate did not properly handle certain certificate types correctly.

Resolution

This issue was tracked under EPCB-22019 and the ability to add duplicate Communication Certificates is prevented with Server 8.11.2 and higher.

Additional Information

• This does not impact the functionality of Agent/Server communication is only a cosmetic issue.
• If desired, these certificates can be manually "cleaned up" by opening a case with Support.
