Issue/Introduction

An EDM rule with a condition to ignore when an email recipient address matches fails to be ignored and results in an incident falsely generated when the email address contains a hashtag in front which becoming more come of late. 

 

Cause

Current DLP versions do not support emails with a hashag in front of the address. 

Resolution

A feature request has been raised to address this issue in a future version of DLP.
