The description for DFTEWIURL on the Endevor Email Notification doc. page explains that the login will be passed with app/packages/<packageID> appended... but of course the login prompt appears when the URL is followed.
Our site has multiple instances (relating to different C1Defaults suffices) and being able to steer users to always use the same/correct Instance/Configuration would be very useful.
Is there a way to pass the Instance/Confuguration name in the DFTEWIURL and/or a way to set the default name so that this field is pre-filled when the user gets the login prompt, so the user doesn't have to remember and can proceed directly to entering their credentials.
EndevorĀ® 19.0
The requested feature to set Instance/Configuration name in the DFTEWIURL is not currently available. It is tentatively planned to deliver the following enhancement towards the end of CY 2025:
The user would add the Configuration name to the DFTEWIURL and the only change needed will be on the frontend side is to detect it and use it on the login screen. Even if ENUXSITE is being used (multiple C1DEFLTS tables), this is achievable by multiplication of the ESMTPTBLs, each with a different EWS configuration, if needed.
There will also be an option to set a default Configuration name.
