When upgrading ESXi by using ISO, it shows the warming "The CPU on the host may not supported in the future ESXi releases. Please plan accordingly. Please refer to KB 82794 for more details."

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 7.0.x

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.0.x

Cause

The current warning indicates that this CPU may not meet the compatibility requirements of future host release.

Resolution
