Issue/Introduction

On Enterprise server when trying to delete a Software Policy, following error appears :

"Software Policy is involved in a distribution and cannot be removed." [SDM000556]

Environment

Client Automation - All Versions

Cause

In Jobs/Software Distributions, there is a SD Job container with a "Reg SW Policy" order for the Software Policy :

Resolution

Delete the SD Job Containers under Jobs/Software Distributions containing the "Reg SW Policy" order for the Software Policy.
And try again to delete the Software Policy
