• After esxi host upgrade, HBA cards  are not showing any devices
• HBA are showing offline/link down

Environment

ESXi 8.X

Cause

HPE support noticed the issue is coming from the FW that was flashed during the SPP update.

Resolution

Contact HP hardware support for further troubleshooting and reload HBA firmware.

Additional Information

Issue reported with  HP Proliant DL380 Gen 11 server.
