AuthHub SSO Login is Redirecting to the Console Login Page

Issue/Introduction

• Checking the HAR file shows invalid_request errors
• "configuration requires the SAML response to be verified but no certificates were configured for verification state"
• "SAMLResponse received from IDP is signed but it could not be verified using the certificate configured"

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud: All Supported Versions
• AuthHub
• SAML Provider

Cause

This happens if there is no, or the wrong, certificate is configured in AuthHub for the SAML response

Resolution

Export the SSO Providers SAML Metadata Config which contains the certificate and provide it to Support to update the backend configuration with

• If the SAML certificate is going to expire or needs to be replaced, open a support case with the Federation Metadata URL with the new certificate included the the backend can be updated
