"Insufficient resources to satisfy configured failover level for vSphere HA" error while powering ON Nutanix CVM VMs

Issue/Introduction
- vSphere HA is enabled on the cluster.
- CVM VMs are unable to power ON if vSphere HA is in enabled state.
- If vSphere HA is disabled, CVM VMs are successfully able to power ON.
Environment
- VMware vSphere ESXi 6.x
- VMware vSphere ESXi 7.x
- VMware vSphere ESXi 8.x
Resolution
Disable Admission Control in the vSphere HA settings. Please follow the below steps :
- Select the cluster on which the CVM VMs are unable to power ON.
- Go to
Configure > vSphere Availability > Edit.
- Go to
Admission Control and change the Define Host failover capacity by option to Disabled.
- Save the settings.
- CVM VMs should be able to power ON with vSphere HA enabled on the cluster.
