Issue/Introduction

Learn how to download the .rpm file required to install the Carbon Black EDR on premise product. 

Environment

• Carbon Black EDR: All Versions

Resolution

1. Log in to https://support.broadcom.com/
2. In the upper-right corner, select the Cyber Security Software 
   
   
   
   
3. In the left menu, click My Entitlements
   
   
   
   
4. In the search box, search by product name ("EDR"), serial number, Site ID, or keyword. Or, for entitled products, expand the Site Name, Site ID, or drop-down arrow. 
   
   
   
   
5. Click the Entitlement Details tab to go to the License page. 
   
   
   
   
6. Click on the Licenses icon.
   
   
   
   
7. Click the Action icon next to the RPM File to download.

• If the entitlement or the RPM file is missing, please reach out through a non-technical ticket. Create a Non Technical case for Support Portal / License / Contract related issues
• The RPM file contains only the following
  • License file
  • Unique certificate for Alliance and Yum communication
  • CarbonBlack.repo to download the product.
