Issue/Introduction

Users are unable to configure Backup and Restore to a Windows SFTP server in SSP 5.0.
The following error appears during setup:

Failed to create SFTP client. Error creating SFTP connection to server.
sftp: problem parsing server host public key: ssh: no key found

Environment

SSP 5.0

Cause

Windows-based SFTP servers are not supported in SSP/SSPI version 5.0.
The platform fails to parse the server's SSH public key, leading to authentication failure.

Resolution

Windows SFTP server support will be available in an upcoming release of SSP.
For SSP 5.0, use a Linux-based SFTP server as a workaround for backup configuration
